Zach Soprovich is an partner at Duncan Craig LLP practicing in its Financial Services and Banking and Litigation practice groups with a focus on acting for lenders, creditors and debtors. His practice area includes foreclosure, mortgage and security enforcement, insolvency, priority disputes, debt recovery and unsecured judgment enforcement and other commercial litigation and breach of contract disputes.
Zach has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta and before the Federal Court of Canada. He is dedicated to providing reliable, practical advocacy for both institutional and individual clients, inside and outside the courtroom, with a confident and steady approach focused on providing clients with results.

"I work with both large financial institutions, private business and individuals to help them either recover money owed to them or protect them when faced with difficult or complex financial circumstances. I handle a wide range of issues, including mortgage foreclosure, contract dispute, debt recovery and bankruptcy. I grew up on a farm and can take any tact necessary – whether a calm, steady approach, or an aggressive, hard-working approach. Zach was called to the Alberta Bar in 2017. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2016. And he received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in 2013. His career at Duncan Craig LLP began in 2014 as a summer student.
In his spare time, Zach enjoys time with his family, playing golf and curling.
